We are proud to announce that the patent for our subsidiary company SentinaBay “Method of treating a workpiece comprising a titanium metal and object" (SE540497C2) was granted today. The patent describes our TiSurf® high pressure process, which combines a special hardening nitration, over pressure (HIP) and quenching. It provides a deeper hardening than the original TiSurf® process and allows for more control in the processing in order to better optimize the functionality of the components.Our new TiSurf®process is ideal as part of a value chain with net shape production, such as 3D printing, and is especially suitable for high performance applications, such as aerospace, defense, process, and energy industries.
